Directship Express: Eligibility guide, application, and onboarding
This help center article simplifies the enrollment process, outlines what you need before applying, and details how your application is processed so you can get up and running smoothly.
The Two Ways to Join
You can enroll in the Express Program through either of two paths:
Via your Account Manager: If you have an assigned Account Manager, contact them to nominate your warehouse if you believe your store is a great fit.
Self Opt-In via Seller Lab: Apply directly by going to Fulfilled by Partner → Directship, and then click the Express Program icon on the left navigation bar.
Before You Apply: Requirements Checklist
Your application will undergo an automatic check against both operational and performance standards.
1. Baseline Operational Requirements
To clear the initial automated check, your warehouse must meet the following criteria:
Warehouse Type: Must be an active directship_v2 warehouse.
FBP History: At least 30 days of active fulfillment history through FBP.
Order Volume: A minimum of 30 FBP orders processed within the last 30 days.
Note: These thresholds may adjust based on business needs. Always rely on the live in-product eligibility check in Seller Lab as your primary source of truth.

2. Performance & Account Health Requirements
Your account health metrics must meet or perform better than the targets below:
You can review these metrics on your Account Health page. If any metric exceeds the allowed threshold, focus on improving it first—the application will not let you proceed until all indicators pass.
Configuring Your Express Settings
During application setup, you will define parameters that control how your Express tag functions live:
Warehouse: Select the directship_v2 warehouse you wish to enroll.

Processing Time: Specify how long you need to process an incoming order (e.g., 2 hours).

Daily Capacity: Set the maximum number of Express orders you can handle per day.

How it works: If daily orders hit this limit, your Express tag pauses until the next cutoff to safeguard your performance metrics. Choose a realistic limit; you can increase it via Seller Lab as your operations scale.
Weekly Off Days: Select your operational days off (up to 2 days per week, or choose no off days).

How it works: The Express tag automatically pauses on designated off days.
Important: Adding an off day later can be done self-service, but removing an off day requires a support request.
Before final submission, you will review a summary and agree to Express standards, including on-time handovers and out-of-stock policies.

How Your Application Is Reviewed
Applications undergo two evaluation stages:
Category Review: The category team reviews your sales volume and account health to confirm store suitability.
Logistics Review: The logistics team verifies that your warehouse location is within the Express coverage area and that capacity exists. They also set your official go-live date.
Drop-off Warehouse Exception: Drop-off warehouses located in pre-covered Express areas are exempted from the logistics review. They complete enrollment immediately after passing the Category Review.
After Submitting Your Application
Tracking Status: Your application status will update to Pending Review. Track progress via the Express Program tab in Seller Lab or through email updates.

Approval & Activation: Once approved, your Express tag will activate automatically on your assigned go-live date, allowing you to process Express orders from Day 1.
Rejection Reasons & Reapplying
Rejected applications cannot be reopened; you must resolve the underlying issue and submit a new application. Common reasons for rejection include:
Unserviceable Location: The warehouse falls outside active Express delivery boundaries.
Mall Location: Warehouses located inside shopping malls cannot accommodate Express pickup logistics.
Logistics Capacity Limits: The courier network in your area is currently at maximum capacity (reapply later as capacity expands).
Performance / Policy Issues: Account health metrics failed to meet standards during review, or policy violations were flagged.
Catalog not approved for Express: The SKUs are not allowed/ permitted to be sold on Express.
You will see one of the following reasons in the rejection notification.
Address not clear
Address is in a non-serviceable area
Address Inside a Mall
Address in a Free Zone area
Address Missing
Pin Location is wrong
Not Enough Parking Space for our Vehicles
Your rejection notification will state the exact reason. If you have an Account Manager, reach out to them for guidance on how to fix the issue before reapplying.
