Fees and revenue calculator
Setting the right price and choosing the best way to deliver your products can make or break your profitability. The Fees and Revenue Calculator is a powerful tool designed specifically for sellers on the noon Seller Lab (Partners Catalog).
Before you commit to a price or choose how to fulfill an order, this tool allows you to run the numbers for Fulfilled by noon (FBN) and Fulfilled by Partner (FBP) side by side. By estimating your noon fees, net revenue, and net margin per unit, you can easily discover which fulfillment method is the most profitable for your business.
Disclaimer: This help center article describes the standard functionality of the Fees and Revenue Calculator. All generated rates and figures are estimates based on standard FBN and FBP rates and exclude VAT.
What this tool does & why it matters?
The calculator takes the guesswork out of your pricing strategy by estimating exactly what you will pay in noon fees and what you will keep as profit per unit.
Why it matters: Fees differ by product category and fulfillment method, meaning the right choice changes from product to product. Modeling your numbers first protects your margins before you commit to a final price.
Key questions it answers:
What will my net margin be if I sell this product at a specific price (e.g., AED X)?
Is FBN or FBP more profitable for this specific product?
How do my own overhead costs (cost of goods, packaging, labor) affect my final take-home revenue?
Where to find the calculator
You can easily access the calculator from two different locations within the Seller Lab:
PLP (Product Listing Page): Open any product’s price edit pop-up to find the calculator link.

PDP (Product Detail Page): Locate the calculator directly inside the pricing section of the product.

First-Time Users: A "Before you start" pop-up will appear when you open the tool for the first time. It provides a quick overview and notes that all figures exclude VAT. Read it and select Got It. You can check Don't show again to hide it in the future, or reopen it anytime by clicking the Disclaimer button at the top right.
Key concepts before you begin
To get the most accurate results, it helps to understand these core terms:
FBN (Fulfilled by noon): noon stores, picks, packs, and ships your product. Your fees will include a referral fee, an outbound fee (based on shipping dimensions), and a storage cost.
FBP (Fulfilled by Partner): You hold the stock and fulfill the order yourself. Your fees will include a referral fee, a directship fee (based on shipping dimensions and your shipping model), and a storage cost, which you can define as per your cost.
Best Value Badge: The calculator automatically highlights the fulfillment method that yields the higher net revenue with a green Best Value tag.

Required Fields (*): Fields marked with a red asterisk must be completed before the calculator can generate results.

What's Excluded: All results are per unit and exclusive of VAT. The calculator uses standard rates and does not include circumstantial or exceptional fees like warranty charges, long-term storage fees, order cancellation fees, or value-added service costs.
Step-by-step guides: Choose your flow
At the top of the calculator, choose the tab that matches your scenario:
Flow A: Estimating for an Existing Product
Use this tab if the product already exists in your own catalog or anywhere on noon.

Select the Product Source: Open the dropdown menu and choose:
My Catalog: To search your own active listings by SKU, PSKU, or product title.

noon: To search any product listed on noon by SKU, product title, or by pasting the product URL directly.

Search and Select: Type your search term (or paste the URL) and press Enter. Select the correct product from the results list (which displays the image, brand, category, title, and SKU).

Review Pre-filled Data: Product details and shipping dimensions will load automatically where available.
Heads-up: Pre-filled dimensions can occasionally be incomplete. If any required dimension is flagged in red, you must fill it in manually.

Input Data & Calculate: Complete the remaining input fields and click Calculate Fees.

Flow B: Estimating for a new product
Use this tab if the product is brand new and has not been listed on noon yet.

Instead of searching, you will define the product using three cascading dropdown menus (each selection unlocks the next):
Product Family: Start typing to search and select your core category (e.g., Mobiles).
Product Type: Choose from the types available under that family (e.g., Mobile Phones).
Product Subtype: Choose the specific subtype (e.g., Smartphones).

Why the category matters: Your Product Family, Type, and Subtype directly determine your referral fee rate. For example, standard Smartphones may carry a 5% referral fee, while Renewed Smartphones carry 8%. Be precise to ensure your estimate is accurate.
Enter Dimensions: Because this is a new product, shipping dimensions will start empty. You must manually enter the Height, Width, Length (in cm), and Weight (in kg).

Input Data & Calculate: Fill in the remaining inputs and click Calculate Fees.

Input fields explained
Whether your product is new or existing, you will need to fill out the following fields:
Highly Recommended: Add "Other Costs"
Click to expand the Other Costs section. While these fields are optional, filling them in gives you a highly realistic picture of your actual net profit:

Unit cost of goods sold (COGS): What it costs you to buy or manufacture each unit.
Miscellaneous costs per unit: Extra expenses per item, such as custom packaging, labels, or additional labor. Once everything is filled out, click Calculate Fees (or press Enter).

Reading your results & breakdown
Your results will generate side-by-side cards for FBN and FBP. Look for the Best Value tag to immediately identify the more profitable method.
The summary card
Each card gives you a quick snapshot per unit:
Total Fees: The sum of all noon fees for that specific fulfillment method.
Other Costs: The sum of your COGS and miscellaneous costs (if entered).
Net Revenue: What you actually keep after subtracting fees and your costs (highlighted for clarity).
Net Margin: Your net revenue expressed as a percentage of your total price.

The fees breakdown
Click Expand Fees Breakdown on either card to see exactly where your money goes:

How to act on this data: Compare the Net Revenue and Net Margin. While you should generally lean toward the method with the better margin, also weigh operational factors that the calculator cannot see—such as your own warehouse space, logistical staff capacity, and cash flow constraints.
Tips and best practices
Don't skip your own costs: Always enter your real COGS and operational costs under Other Costs. Without them, "net revenue" only reflects noon fees, not your actual profit.
Recalculate after price edits: Fees and margins shift dynamically with your retail price. Re-run the calculator before finalizing any price changes.
Measure twice: Outbound and Directship fees depend heavily on sizing. Double-check that your dimensions are accurate and entered in cm and weight in kg to avoid unexpected fee jumps.
Account for VAT: Remember that the calculator functions entirely exclusive of VAT. Remember to account for VAT when setting your final customer-facing price.
