This article explains the key difference between Renewed and Refurbished devices on Noon. All sellers listing under the Renewed program must follow these definitions and grading standards to ensure customer trust and platform consistency.

What is 'Renewed'?

Renewed refers to products that are lightly used AS-IS stocks or open-box and have been professionally tested, cleaned, and certified before being listed for sale.

Renewed devices must not be rebuilt or repaired — all major parts such as the screen, body, and battery must remain original OEM components. They should look and function almost like new, with minimal signs of use, and must pass Noon’s grading guideline standards.

Important Seller Notes for Renewed

  1. Do not list repaired, reassembled, or refurbished devices as Renewed.

  2. Battery must not be replaced — only tested and verified to be ≥85%.

  3. Renewed listings must include accurate grading, warranty details, and clear product images.

  4. Each SKU must mention the warranty period (12 months) in the product detail page.

  5. Sellers are responsible for accurate QC documentation before stock movement or ASN creation.

What is 'Refurbished'?

Refurbished devices are products that have been technically repaired or rebuilt to factory standards using OEM-grade replacement parts. If the screen, body, or battery was defective, it must be replaced with new OEM components, and the unit must be fully retested before sale.

These devices are restored to look and perform exactly like new and must come with a 6-month seller warranty.
