Step 4: Prepare Your SKUs for Global Sale
To make your UAE SKUs eligible for KSA, each listing must include:
12-digit KSA HS Code (find it on ZATCA tariff)
Country_of_Origin (COO)
Guide to bulk-update HS codes and Country of Origin data for your SKUs:
1. Go to Seller Lab › Catalog › My Catalog.
In the next step, click Add Products, then select Create Multiple Products.
2. Select the template you want to download.Once the template is exported. Fill only the following 3 columns:
Partner_sku
HS_code
Country_of_Origin
3. Upload the file and click “Submit”. Check “Imports History” until the status is “Completed”.
Note:
The Country of Origin (COO) indicates the country or countries where the SKU is manufactured, produced, designed, or branded. Please enter only one (1) COO for each SKU
Missing or wrong HS/COO keeps SKUs offline in the global catalog, so correct any errors shown in the import log to make sure your SKU is live.
How does the global pricing work?
When the SKUs listed in the UAE store are enabled for Global selling to Saudi Arabia (KSA), the system automatically calculates the KSA selling price based on your UAE offer price (base price ) in AED.
For example, your item is listed in the UAE store for 100 AED (inclusive of 5% VAT). Here’s how the system calculates the selling price for KSA:
We get the pre-VAT Global Price in USD.
The system removes the UAE VAT (5%) from your price.
100 AED ÷ 1.05 = 95 AED (exclusive of VAT)Then it converts the price to USD using the prevailing conversion rate.
95 AED ÷ 3.67 = 25.8 USD (pre-VAT Global Price)
Calculating the KSA final selling price in SAR (inclusive 15% VAT)
Since you are selling to Global KSA, the system will convert the Global price from USD to SAR
using the prevailing conversion rate.
25.8 USD x 3.75 = 97 SAR (exclusive of VAT)Then the system adds the KSA VAT of 15% to the price to get the final price KSA selling price
97 SAR x 1.15 = 112 SAR (Inclusive 15% VAT)
Summary
100 AED (inclusive of 5% VAT) UAE offer price → 112 SAR (inclusive of 15% VAT) Global KSA selling price
Key Notes
The entire conversion and calculation process is fully automated - you do not need to manually update the price of Global Price or the KSA selling price
The system uses standard or prevailing currency exchange rates; hence, the final price may slightly differ from manual calculations
The system does not use Deal Price or Sale Price uploaded in the UAE. It always takes your base price or default price in the UAE store
Any update to your UAE seller Base Price will automatically adjust the KSA selling price once the system syncs, including VAT adjustments.
For SKUs enrolled in the UAE store under the pricing engine, the system uses the latest output UAE offer price generated by the pricing engine to calculate the Global Price and KSA Selling Price.
Upon joining the program, it can take up to 24 hours for all enrolled SKUs to appear in the system. Subsequent updates to local prices (base price or output engine price) typically take up to one hour to sync and reflect in the Global Price and KSA Selling Price.
Please note that if your products are subject to additional customs duties as per the KSA HS code classification, these duties may be added to the product price displayed in Saudi Arabia.
Other Important Points To Remember
Important Note: If the UAE store is ineligible, the Global Selling widget will not be visible.
If the UAE VAT registration is missing, the Join Global Program button will be disabled.
If the seller doesn’t have at least one authorized signatory linked to the UAE Legal Entity, the Join Global Program button will be disabled.
If the KSA T&Cs are not signed, the widget will reflect that status.
Once T&Cs are signed, the widget will update accordingly and you will have the option to view the Global Catalog
That's It!
